What is actually different
The Free plan is the whole editor, not a trial. Pro lifts the saved-diagram limit and opens the account to AI agents.

Pricing questions
Do I need to pay to use TryMermaid?
No. Anyone can sign up for free and use the whole web app. The Free plan lets you save up to 50 diagrams to your account, and you can keep editing, exporting and sharing without saving at all.
What happens when I reach 50 diagrams?
Your existing diagrams stay safe and editable. To save a new one, delete a diagram you no longer need or upgrade to Pro for unlimited diagrams.
What are MCP connectors?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors let AI agents such as Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients work with TryMermaid directly: create diagrams from a prompt, update saved diagrams and read them back, all in your account.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and you keep Pro until the end of the billing period you have paid for. After that your account moves to the Free plan and no diagrams are deleted.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Payments are non-refundable, including partial months, except where the law requires otherwise. Read the refund policy for the details.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
The editor is free and needs no account, so the quickest answer is to try it. The Free plan is the whole application, not a trial: every diagram type, the drag-and-drop canvas, PNG and SVG export, share links and embeds. Pro only adds unlimited saved diagrams and MCP connectors.
Can I take my diagrams with me if I stop paying?
Yes. Everything you build is standard Mermaid code, and export gives you PNG, SVG or the code itself. Nothing is stored in a format only TryMermaid can read, so you are never locked in.
How is payment handled?
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. Card details never reach TryMermaid. You can change your card or cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in your dashboard.
